4 /5 James Kitching: Fine food and good service. Carbonara was nice, maybe using a bit of cream rather than egg yolk and cheese, but whatever, I won’t cry about it. The veal dish was also nice. Focaccia was huge, but not what we expected, more like a pizza. Tiramisu was a bit of a let down for £10, it was not a particularly good tiramisu and is very overpriced for what it is. Ginormous portions!

5 /5 Debbie Williams: This was on the doorstep of our hotel and had been highly recommended to us. What a little gem. The food was huge portions and so so so delicious. This was a meal with my daughter but could equally be a romantic meal or enjoyed by a group. Low lighting and soft music, lovely staff, nothing too much trouble. Very glad we visited while in London, can’t recommend enough. Perfect last evening. Felt very authentic

1 /5 Serena: My partner and I ate here tonight and had pre booked. Our experience got off to a bad start when we walked in and, despite the place being nearly completely empty, were completely ignored by the old man who was making himself a drink (he had seen us). We stood there for a couple of minutes until another man, this time younger (approximately 30s) and tall, came along and showed us to our table. When we came to order, I asked for the ricotta ravioli. I’ll be the first to admit that the waiter (the old man) DID repeat this back to me, but was mumbling and so all I really heard was “ravioli.” I said yes. When the food came, he put it down on the table and said “crab ravioli.” I then said “excuse me, I’m really sorry but I ordered ricotta ravioli”. The service had been abrupt at best up until this point but now took a real turn for the worse. He got quite visibly angry and said “I TOLD you it was crab”. I then said “we must have misheard eachother but I did say ricotta, I’m really sorry.” At this point the waiter then stormed off to the kitchen where he proceeded to very loudly relay the situation to the chefs as I awkwardly sat and listened to myself being very rudely talked about. The younger man then came over and said I would have to pay for both but they can make me another one. Eventually I received the right meal and was ignored up until we asked for the bill which was rudely slammed down and came to over £100 as I was made to pay £26 for a meal I did not eat a bite of (I’m a vegetarian) on top of the correct £18 meal I ordered. Considering the fact I was very polite and apologetic throughout, and was willing to pay for a meal I didn’t eat, I think the way we were treated was abysmal. I myself work in a customer-facing role and even when I have been shouted at for something that is no fault of my own, I have never treated a customer that way. I would strongly suggest no one goes here unless you want to pay for mediocre food and extremely rude, unprofessional service.

5 /5 Milagros Bonacchi: Good quality/price resto located in Canary Wharf 3 mins from the Ibis Docklands Canary Wharf hotel. Food portions are generous too! Service is fast and they are open on weekends. They work with app deliveries and take-aways too.

3 /5 Mariana Sousa: House wine is good. The garlic fogacia with rocket cheese and tomatoes was of a size of a pizza but the filling was coming off the bread, so nothing special. We tried both gnochi al forno and gnochi which spinach, both salty specially gnochi with spinach. 12.5% service charge which we asked to take off the bill and we perceived being judge for this. I think costumers should have the freedom to give tips if they want to and for a service that was considered normal I dont think is fair for me to pay 12.5% extra. I would only give tip if I found the job was outstanding and actually I was planning to leave some tip but because of the judgement received I ended up not giving any. So I think you should not expect that everybody will be happy to pay extra for a normal job. If you want a tip you need to give more (however both waiters were polite) smile more, engage with the costumer more, provide suggestions and make the costumer feel special. Happy to say we could pay cash, so glad it was not a cashless restaurant. Please keep money alive, well done!
