1 /5 MYKKAELLA REYZ: The owner of this place has the worst attitude I’ve ever experienced in a business. She is openly rude, dismissive, and behaves as if customers are an inconvenience rather than the reason her shop exists. The way she speaks to people shows zero professionalism and zero respect. Her behaviour creates an extremely hostile atmosphere. You can feel the tension as soon as she’s there — even the staff seem uncomfortable working around her, and it completely changes the energy of the place in the worst way. The food quality drops massively whenever she is the one handling things. The jerk chicken comes out burnt, the rice has no seasoning, and it’s clear there is no care or consistency. When the man is cooking, the food is actually good — but when she takes over, everything goes downhill fast. On top of that, she makes simple requests (like asking for sauce) feel like a problem. Instead of customer service, you get attitude and unnecessary stress. There are many better options in the area with good food, respectful service, and people who actually value their customers. I would not recommend this place to anyone

1 /5 Ligia Cavuanda: I had a very unpleasant experience at this place, mainly because of the owner. She was extremely rude, disrespectful, and displayed homophobic and colorist behavior. The way she speaks to customers is unacceptable — she has no basic manners and treats people very poorly. The food was handed over carelessly, with no professionalism at all. Her attitude made the whole environment uncomfortable, to the point where even the staff seemed uneasy around her presence and behavior. At one point, her lack of manners escalated so badly that she almost got into a physical confrontation with another customer. Overall, it was a very hostile and unwelcoming experience. I would not recommend this establishment.

3 /5 D: I bought a curry chicken meal today it would be good if it didnt have so much salt. I have had takeaways from here before but rarely, has this is one of the two problems I take issue with. The other problem was a bad attitude with a server, whom they might have gotten rid of or she left. Anyway she wasnt there this time and the young lady who was there tonight was very polite with a lovely smile. Service was very good. JUST CUT DOWN ON THE SALT, PLEASE. Otherwise your food taste good.

1 /5 Black Queen: There’s a saying that “the worse the service, the better the food.” Unfortunately, this place fails on both counts. I’ve only ever gone here because it’s closer than Jamrock, but after today, never again. The food is consistently disappointing and the service is flat-out terrible. No matter how polite you are, the staff are rude, dismissive, and act like serving you is a personal inconvenience. I’m not paying to be abused. What really finished it for me was today’s Pineapple Punch — it had gone off. I’ve never had that happen anywhere before. When I brought it back, the woman behind the counter didn’t even apologise. She refused to refund it properly because their “telephone was down” and didn’t want to process it on card. Absolutely ridiculous. I’d ignored their 3-star food hygiene rating before, assuming they’d just been caught on a bad day. Now I see it probably wasn’t. Honestly, I wouldn’t even give them one star if that were an option. If you’re going to serve food with an attitude, at least make sure the food is worth it. This place isn’t. I’d rather go hungry than go back.
