JRC Global Buffet - (Near , South East)

5 /5 Honest Reviews: Fantastic dining experience at JRC Global Buffet! The variety of food was incredible from sushi and Asian dishes to authentic Indian curries, Mediterranean grills, and delicious desserts. Everything was well-prepared, hot, and constantly replenished. Whenever I got to buffet I always get the same thing, Chinese food. The vermicelli noodles here were amazing as well as the sweet and sour chicken and sweet chilli crispy shredded beef. I managed to go through 2 big plates and 1 small bowl. It was amazing, I even think back to it and wish I ate more. The desserts were actually nice, my favourite was the chocolate cake it was better than their other branch (I can’t remember where it was) that I went to. However I recommend they cover the food because as I was leaving the place I saw a fly land on one of the foods. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and quick to clear plates, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Great atmosphere too, perfect for family meals or celebrations. Excellent value for money and I’ll definitely be coming back. I didn’t get much pictures because I was too busy eating but I loved the aesthetics especially the purple light as you walked in. I really wish I got my picture of inside the restaurant. It was very spacious. I definitely recommend.

3 /5 Tanya Abdul: The person who took our payment at the door was very kind. The white plates to grab to start self serving was mostly dirty, you can tell it has been washed but there was still food residue on most the plates I had to wipe mine down with a tissue. I mainly enjoyed the chicken skewer which was nicely portioned. Now for the grilled meat station, whenever I went to where the chefs grill the beef/lamb fresh I was told it will take more time cooking so I gave up getting it. The East Asian dishes were not great at all, the sweet and sour chicken was too vinegary, the rest of the dishes in that section was hard to enjoy to the point I could not continue eating them. Luckily I only picked up very tiny amounts on my plate to taste them first. Glad I wasn’t deceived by the looks of those dishes because they did look great. I did enjoy some of the Indian dishes and was glad there were chicken dishes available. In the dessert area you’ll find bowls of sweets, small ice cream tubs you can pick up from the freezer and on display small little square cut pieces of either cakes or cheesecakes. I appreciated that they labelled which were halal and which were not. Overall to have paid £26 for a vast range of food but with the quality of nearly all the dishes lacking I was left rather disappointed. I’m glad to have tried JRC and I did leave full however I am unsure I’d happily pay £26 for these same dishes again. Thank you.

1 /5 Sarath Sivadasan: I visited this place today with a friend, and honestly, it was a big letdown. Most of the dishes were overly sweet — even the chicken gravy and soup tasted like dessert. The chicken wings were undercooked, rice dishes were dry, and the plates weren’t properly cleaned. Nothing really tasted good, and the desserts were disappointing too. The only positive was the service — the staff were attentive and cleared plates regularly — but even then, they didn’t seem to notice that the plates weren’t clean. Sadly, it felt like a waste of £25 each. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

2 /5 Ro Kabutey: The atmosphere was cool. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice. The place was so clean but the food was not good at all. When you add the food to your plate, it gets cold very quickly. Most of the dishes are very sweet which was interesting. The only bit which wasnt bad was their desert area. I wouldnt call this a global buffet, it was Chinese food with Indian sauces. Also the price was too high, especially if thats the food that is available.
