Karak Chaii Southall - (Near Ealing, South East)

1 /5 ricky verma: I ordered karak chai with a maska bun for takeaway and was quite disappointed with the experience. When I opened the box, I was surprised to see that the maska bun had no proper spread inside — only a thin layer of salted butter. A maska bun is usually known for its generous, rich butter filling, so this was not what I expected at all. I’ve visited Karak Chai many times before and have always enjoyed their food and service, which makes this experience Good but this time i was more disappointing. I hope this was just a one-off issue and that they maintain the quality and standards they’re known for in the future.

3 /5 Rupa Nag: momo was good. Chai was good but too sweet for us. Sugar should be given on the side. The bada pav was the worst i had in my life. It was burger with tomato sauce.

It was my first time having such a perfectly made vada pav here, and it did not disappoint. A special thank you to Navjot for serving such a delicious combination. 4 /5 parminder mann: Nicely decorated for Valentine’s Day and at 12:00 not too busy. I ordered the Chana parantha with Kadak chai (no sugar) and it arrived promptly. Food was hot, with the paranthas nice and flaky with a crisp and the Chana was nicely spiced. Only issue I have is the portion of Chana is way too small for two paranthas. Being in Southall, and it being a North Indian dish, we know North Indians like to eat big portions. It needed to be at least double. I would come again but not order this unless the portion increased.
