Niki Babai Alto by San Carlo is absolutely fantastic! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a team that truly knows what great service looks like. Every staff member was attentive and the entire experience felt smooth and well-taken-care-of. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The ambiance is stylish yet comfortable, making it perfect for both special occasions and relaxed evenings out. Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing dishes, top-tier service, and an overall memorable dining experience!

Saskia Hammond Really nice food and service. We had the tofu skin spring rolls, which were incredible. We even thought they’re better than normal spring rolls. The 3-cup sauce tofu was also delicious and my boyfriend said the crispy chilli beef was amazing as well. Would definitely recommend. We’ll be coming back!

Tajul Islam Authentic food, wonderfully tasting, with the usual massive Turkish style portions. Id recommend the platter as it comes with an array of meat products to try. The only thing I didnt like - and its the only thing I personally dont like no matter where I go - is the kaburga i.e. the ribs. I am just not a fan of Turkish style ribs so I wont be unfair and say it loses a star for that. However, great place: cant believe Ive never bothered to ever to try it despite walking past it countless times. Would I go again? Well lets just say, at the time of writing this, my stomach is grumbling just thinking about their food. Maşa Allah to everyone there.

The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel very comfortable from the moment I arrived. The atmosphere is calm, elegant, and perfect for a relaxing meal. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. Everything was served perfectly and the quality really stood out. I truly enjoyed my visit and would definitely recommend O ver St James to anyone who values great service and a lovely dining experience in London.

Gavin Beynon What a wonderful meal. Food was amazing. We will go back again. Generous portions which is an unexpected and welcome change from other restaurants. Its not cheap but corners are not cut. Staff very friendly and attentive. They all appear to have a genuine interest if you are enjoying yourself. Well done and we will be back. A good reward scheme as well.
