5 /5 John Wilkins: We visited Kitchen W8 for Sunday lunch, as it was my daughters 17th birthday and she fancies something special and it was, quite simply, absolutely wonderful. From the moment we walked in, the experience was a perfect blend of high-end gastronomy and warm, welcoming hospitality. The Food The kitchen clearly takes Sunday lunch seriously. Every dish was a testament to seasonal, high-quality ingredients handled with technical precision. The flavors were balanced and sophisticated, yet stayed true to the comforting soul of a traditional Sunday meal. It is rare to find a roast that feels this elevated while still being immensely satisfying. The Service What truly set the afternoon apart was the service. The staff were attentive and professional without being overbearing, creating an atmosphere that was both polished and relaxed. They made us feel genuinely well-looked-after throughout the entire meal. Verdict Kitchen W8 continues to prove why it’s a neighborhood gem with a serious reputation. If you are looking for an exceptional Sunday lunch in London—where the food is Michelin-standard and the service is flawless—this is the place to be. We will certainly be returning.

Sommelier Shawn did a fantastic job, Ece offered a competent and attentive service as well as everybody else who appeared at our table. Cozy and modern interior design, relaxed atmosphere. We‘d love to visit W8 again when back in London.

5 /5 Virginia Marcal: I chose this restaurant for my husband’s birthday because it has always been special to us and we used to come here often. After so many years, the experience is even better than before. The complexity of the dishes, the balance of flavours, the beautifully crafted desserts, the attentive service, and the warm atmosphere all feel truly Michelin-level. Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful evening.

5 /5 ES M: Outstanding food and brilliant service. Attentive and kind waiting staff, who made us feel really comfortable. Gorgeous cocktails, great wine list, and fabulous food. Well-priced for a Michelin in London and a great early dinner set menu.

2 /5 Carolina Torres: The place was nice, the food was good but there was a few (big) negative points that should be addressed since its a expensive and michelin star restaurant. First, it took ages for us to get the main dishes, we had to remember the waiter about our food (customers arriving and order way after us got the food first). When the main dishes arrived, it was clear they forgot to put the sauce in one of the dishes (fish one - you can see in the pictures one of the fish dish without the sauce), again, we had to call the waiter to remind him about the sauce missing on a plate. Until here we thought was already odd for such a top restaurant to have the customer remind the waiter for food. Furthermore, when one of us was eating the fish, there was a hair in the plate. When addressed to the waiter, he didnt know how to react and called the manager - which arrived to the table and asked if everything was okay (clearly was not). When we explained the issue, the person who had the hair in the food asked for another carpaccio which the manager responded "I have to ask the chef if its possible". Again, suggesting if its possible its not the way to handle the situation. They got us the carpaccio and they stated they would remove the original dish from the bill - for our surprise, they only removed £5 from the bill and they still kept the service charge. Such a disappointment as we choose this restaurant for a special birthday - for a person who was visiting London. Its a shame how it was handled since you have a Michelin star - better service should be provided, specially a training to the staff when they kept forgetting about customers food.
