1 /5 Waz: IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO I WOULD! Went around 7pm and wasn’t busy at all, no one there in-fact. Starters weren’t in the buffet dishes rather they were reheated in the kitchen and put in your plate, very limited starter options too. Food was terrible all preheated and old nothing to how the other reviews state it. Followed those reviews thinking the restaurant was amazing however was very disappointed especially since it was £18.99 per person. So expensive for such terrible food. Biryani was extremely bland no flavour, the chicken was black from inside and the nihari was raw with an unusual smell. I do NOT RECOMMEND at ALL! Never going back again.

The staff (preet and sumaira) were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, striking that perfect balance of being helpful without hovering. The food was the real highlight. 3 /5 Sabzii Bakes: Came on Friday night around 7pm, not busy at all but got busy, lots of people standing in groups, noisy and unable to move. Food needed refilling, some things were dry and chewy due to being heated, the kebabs and fish, chicken in biryani was so dry, that and pilau needed refilling. Some items not there. Too many tables, hard to get to the buffet and too many chairs. The plates are too big, you cant rest them on counters while getting food. The chutney needed chilli and salt and the chana chaat had no taste, needs some chat masala, salt, anything. The chicken tikka is not chicken tikka was bland, the butter chicken was nice and tangy sauce. The mango mocktail has black salt and tasted like egg. The deserts all had almonds in the gajar halwa, kheer and rasmalai and I have a nut allergy so couldnt have any of them which is annoying. No tap water available either. Staff are nice and friendly and came round with fresh naan.
