5 /5 George R: Really good value kebab rolls! You can get really tasty, filling kebab rolls for such a cheap price! Theres also a bunch of curries out on display, but I havent tried those. The bread is freshly made in the tandoor that they have, and theres quite a lot of staff behind the counter so it is a slick operation. Highly recommend!

1 /5 Ahmed Raza: I am submitting a serious and formal complaint regarding a counter staff member at your Walthamstow branch. The individual in question is an older, clean-shaven man who was working at the counter at the time of my visit. His behaviour was shockingly unprofessional, aggressive, and deeply disrespectful. When I arrived to collect a delivery, he spoke to me in an extremely rude and hostile tone. To be completely honest, he spoke to me “like a dog” — dismissively, aggressively, and without any basic courtesy. He then snatched the delivery from my hands and told me, in a very rude manner, to “cancel the delivery” and said there was no order. The way this was communicated was unacceptable and humiliating. In a country like the United Kingdom, where people generally communicate with respect — using simple words like “please,” “thank you,” and “sorry” — this type of behaviour is completely out of place. His conduct does not reflect the standards expected in a civilised and professional environment. It genuinely made me question whether his behaviour was discriminatory, as he carried himself as though he believed he was superior to others. In my view, he seems to think he is some kind of “Saith Abid سیٹھ عابد” or authority figure — but that perception appears to be his own misunderstanding. That attitude does not justify mistreating customers. If he behaved this way with me today, it is very likely this has happened before and could happen again. What is equally concerning is that other staff members were present and no one intervened or corrected his behaviour. I strongly advise the owners and management of Lower Express to address this issue urgently. Either his attitude must be corrected immediately through proper training and supervision, or staffing changes should be considered. It would be unfortunate if one individual’s behaviour damages the reputation of your business and discourages customers from returning. Customer respect is not optional — it is fundamental. I hope this matter is taken seriously and handled appropriately.

2 /5 Ben Changa: The food has always been delicious. Ive been eating the lamb kebab rolls for a few months now. I however, will not be returning as I am not confident necessary hygene practices are taking place at the restaurant. The service in terms of politeness and manners has always been great. Clean hands are a must and handling food after touching very unclean objects is a deal-breaker for me and brings the service score down for me tremendously. All love and respect and I hope the store continues to deliver delicious food

Perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of rich, authentic flavour — you can really taste the quality and care that goes into the cooking. The service was friendly and efficient, and the overall experience was seamless from start to finish. It’s rare to find food that feels both comforting and expertly prepared, but Lahore Xpress manages to deliver exactly that. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be returning for more.
