1 /5 Andre Szymanski: Ive been ordering from them for a few years. Recently the food quality has gone down significantly. I dont know if its new management or chef but its really upsetting. Used to be so good and these days the chicken in sweet n sour sauce is just horrible. Tough, dry and weird tasting. Definitely old. I live only a couple of minutes away and usually the boiled rice arrives very overcooked. Egg fried rice tastes like frozen supermarket stuff. Im pretty sure it is... has to be! No salt, no soy sauce no flavor. White rice, egg, grease and a little bit of spring onion. Sometimes the chicken in black bean sauce is awfully bitter! Not what I want after 12hr shift.

5 /5 YUBING HUANG: Really enjoyed my meal at Maxim Chinese Restaurant. The crispy duck was the highlight — tender, not dry at all, and perfect with pancakes, cucumber and hoisin sauce. The braised aubergine was rich and flavourful, and the beef with peppers was super tender and great with rice. Traditional Chinese decor and a nice atmosphere for dinner with friends. Slightly on the pricier side, but definitely worth it for the quality. Would come back again!

5 /5 SER: Went to this lovely restaurant last night to celebrate my friends birthday. What a wonderful time we had. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food was served quickly and was absolutely delicious. I had stir fried lamb, special fried rice and spring rolls to start. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a brilliant evening. They took group photos for our party of 10 and joined in singing happy birthday. The manager calculated my bill for me. All in all, a fantastic evening. I would go back without hesitation
