MOMO Sushi Bar Camberwell - (Near Southwark, South East)

4 /5 D S: This place mainly specialises in sushi probably can tell by their name, however we had some starters, donburi and yakisoba. The beef tataki was good but was expecting better as i had many times before from different restaurants. The duck donburi was delicious and so is the salmon, however the beef yakisoba , more beef would be appreciated as it’s hardly any in the dish I had. The cocktails were delicious, the Kyoto was strong and the other was sweet. So overall I would recommend this place.

5 /5 Karolina Kafadar: Momo Sushi is a lovely place. We enjoyed it very much. The king prawn yakisoba was full of flavour and perfectly cooked, and the spider sushi roll was fresh, crispy, and delicious. Relaxed atmosphere, great food, and friendly service. Would happily come back.

5 /5 Andrea Cali: Good atmosphere and excellent service welcomed us to this small place. We tried most of the dishes offered on the concise menu. The wait wasnt long, the dishes arrived gradually and we were given the opportunity to taste all the courses in due time. Excellent presentation of the food, excellent quality of the products, different dishes with varied, distinct and surprising tastes. From the photos you can see the beauty of the food and at the same time you will understand that it will be good to the palate. This is one of my favorite restaurants. I advise you to go on foot, if you go by car you will have some problems with parking, I found a really expensive paid one, 3.75 per hour, or go in the evening after 6.30pm.

4 /5 Ada P: Had a lunch here and it was really good, a pleasant surprise in Camberwell. Sashimi platter is very nice. All fish was fresh, nicely cut and had a good taste. Very decent sashimi. The salmon volcano roll was also really nice with a good taste and texture. The roll was well made. The only thing was the inside of the sushi roll is filled with crispy tempura batter. This is fine, but for me personally there was too much of it making it too crispy. I would have preferred more rice and a traditional filling like avocado, fish, prawn etc. I would try a different sushi next time. The lemon ice tea was very nice. Service was really friendly and professional. Food was made fresh and super quick. I was in and out within 30 mins. Definitely recommend and I will be returning very soon to try some more things on the menu which caught my eye.
