Mumbai Delight - (Near Lambeth, South East)

5 /5 F1 Ology: Mumbai Delight? It certainly lives up to the name. I ordered a takeaway via Deliveroo and, honestly, this might be some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Everything was packed with flavour and clearly cooked with care. The lamb bhuna was outstanding, generous portions of tender meat, rich and properly spiced. The garlic naan was excellent too, soft, fragrant, and spot on. But the real surprise was the mushroom rice, which may genuinely be the best I’ve ever had. Incredibly flavourful and absolutely delicious. I can’t comment on the in-house service as this was a takeaway, but judging by the quality of the food and the strong reviews, I’ve no doubt it lives up to expectations. This is definitely a place I’ll be making the effort to visit in person hopefully sooner rather than later. Highly recommended.

5 /5 Eve Allen: The photo probably doesn’t do this place much justice, but this was the best Indian food I think I’ve ever had. We are lucky to live in the area, but even if we didn’t I would make a special visit here because the food is amazing, and service is lovely and accomodating too. Like no other Indian I’ve had, but still with the same nostalgic taste. Cobra on tap, three curries, three garlic naans, some rice and some pappad and you are set for a great night

5 /5 Jake Jackson: Came here for an evening meal with my partner. Staff were super friendly and welcoming from the start, and this continued as they got busier. The menu was reasonably priced at first glance. Once we started eating however we realised we were getting a bargain. The food was such high quality and all tasted so fresh and flavoursome. I recommend their butter chicken and house curry, but they all looked, sounded and smelt as good as you’d want. Drinks are standard price but they’ve got your classics and poured fresh instead of bottled, which is always welcome. The interior has some cool and interesting art, including some that seemed to pay homage to the owners heritage. I would honestly go here for all my future curry nights if I weren’t moving out the area. Glad I got to experience it even if it was a bitter sweet late opportunity. 100% recommend!
