The ambience sets the tone right from the moment you step in. The space is thoughtfully designed with a contemporary edge, featuring warm lighting and comfortable seating that invites lingering conversations. What truly elevated the mood was the spot-on selection of jazz music playing softly in the background—smooth, unobtrusive, and perfectly complementing the lively yet relaxed vibe. It’s the kind of setting that makes you forget the hustle outside and fully immerse yourself in the evening. Service was a standout highlight, thanks to our attentive server, Saqlene. He anticipated our every need with genuine warmth and efficiency, from recommending pairings to ensuring our glasses were never empty. His professionalism and enthusiasm added a personal touch that made the meal feel truly special—kudos to him for making us feel like valued guests throughout. Now, onto the food: East Eatery delivers on its promise of bold, flavoursome dishes. The steak was a particular delight—tender, perfectly cooked, and bursting with rich, savoury notes that left a lasting impression. The rest of the menu didn’t disappoint either; each bite was thoughtfully seasoned, showcasing a harmonious fusion of spices and fresh ingredients. Nathanael Antonio We had a very nice first visit in Nisou this month. Booked ahead to celebrate my wifes birthday and the entire process and communication was smooth. Props to their entire team for having top-notch customer service and always having a kind smile. We loved the ambience and the cozy feeling of the place. The quality of the food is excellent, very delicious and really worth your money. Would definitely recommend this place.

Kevin Saint The best cafe in the area! Now open on Sunday!!!! The cafe is under new ownership so Ive decided to delete my pervious reviews. The food here is still outstanding and the new owner Sergi has kept using the same quality products from before. The bacon and sausage are excellent here! Weve also got some lunches added to the menu including a delicious shepherds pie and they still sell lovely milkshakes. Free WI-FI available Although the pervious owners will be missed the new team here are polite, attentive and professional and food is very fairly priced with excellent size portions. We even have a TV to watch in there now. Highly recommended

Akinlabi Akande Myself, family and friends, a group of 5 had a splendid time with Chef Dorothy, right from the phone call to showing up, the amala was hot....... ewedu was thick... Poundo yam with efforiro was amazing. we had to order Jollof, fried and Grilled fish with plantain and yam as takeaway. Even though we came in late, it was obvious she was tired.. but the quality of food was fantastic. the assorted, cow leg, goat meat, shakki.. JESU. first time in MK so was lucky to have found just the right place to host my in-laws & friends. oo we snacked on delicious meatpie too and bought 3 more for the road.
