Horatios Restaurant - Hampshire

Sallyanne Curd Love the quirky modern take on how sailors would decorate a restaurant. Food was fresh and hot, they let you have more than 1 sausage!
pho portsmouth

Pho Portsmouth - Hampshire

Rating: 4.6 /5
Richard Wilson Really hard to fault anything at this restaurant. Super friendly servers and all of the dishes had an authentic taste. The house Pho, in particular, was as good as any that Ive had in Hanoi. The summer spring rolls were delightful too, as was the mango salad. The Morning Glory also had a really decent spicy kick to it, as well as having a decent crunch to it. Ill definitely be coming back here for more authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

Saros Thai Cafe - Hampshire

Pui Man Lo Saro’s Thai Cafe is so good! Everything tastes exactly like authentic Thai food in Thailand. The Thai milk tea is super tasty. Pad Thai and pork leg on rice are my absolute favorites. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back. Hope to see more new desserts in the future, like pandan cake and mango sticky rice!
the a bar

The A Bar - Hampshire

Alexander Fergusson-Cooper If I could give this place one star I would... They have ruined pizza for me, it was by far the best Ive had, no other will compare. My partner and I shared the nduja/scotch bonnet and the chicken/paneer. Both were truly superb. The dough had a terrific flavour, but the toppings on each were perfectly balanced and flavoursome. We started with the cauliflower hummus - something we await to recreate! The service was outstanding, knowledgeable and friendly, without being over the top, again, a perfect balance. Wine list fantastic and comprehensive (the reason we came here - (fathers a wine merchant!) maître d was knowledgeable and showed us the bottle of wine we were curious about. Atmosphere was warm, welcoming, relaxed, and the use of acoustic tiles on the ceiling work as both an interesting feature and more importantly to reduce the sound in the bar/restaurant. I am hugely disappointed we are only in Portsmouth for an evening - had we live in the vicinity, we would surely adopt The A Bar as a regular venue. A venue for everyone, we were made to feel like long standing customers - warm and welcoming. If ever in Portsmouth again, we will rush back!
