Old Beams - (Near Buckinghamshire, South East)

5 /5 Kalista Sky: We enjoyed our visit to Old Beams. The interior is beautiful and full of character, with a charming old-style design and lots of warm wood details that create a very cozy atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even nicer. The portions were generous and nicely presented. We tried the lamb and the beef — the lamb was delicious, while the beef was a bit on the tough side. Overall, it was a lovely place to dine and we would be happy to come back.

5 /5 Patricia Jacqueline Madureira: The service was amazing from the beginning, and after that, Mason was a friendly, smiling person. The food was really good, 2 of us ate Steak frities, one burger and another one fish and chips, all well-made and well-presented. The bathroom was clean but smelled bad, but the rest of the pub was clean. My family and I will come back for sure.

5 /5 Ruth Dennis: The atmosphere of the pub is very warm and welcoming with a traditional but modern twist feel to it. The service was faultless, shout out to our waitress Caitlin who was really friendly and checked on us often. The food was delicious.. highly recommend a visit.

4 /5 Jay Day: We went for the Sunday roast, one of our group had a soya and fish allergy, the waitress couldnt have been more attentive and assuring. She provided lots of information about the food, a separate card with the info on which foods and sauces had which allergens and even spoke to the kitchen staff again once the order was made. The waitress allowed the kids to have a smaller version of the full Sunday roast for the kids considering the amount of food on the plate , my son had a chicken supreme with all the trimmings for a fiver and my daughter had the veggie option for less than £4! Better than fast food any day of the week. We were astonished at the value. The Sunday roasts were great - the only reason and its quite picky I didnt go for a 5 rating is I prefer my meats a little rarer but I have to say the food was cooked perfectly and I need buckets of gravy! Although again with no faff they provided a gravy boat quick sharp. We had a lovely meal and great surroundings and they could not have done more for the kids providing colouring sheets and crayons. I would highly recommend this place it feels like the whole restaurant serving staff are on the same page and they care about the experience they provide, great job Old Beams!

5 /5 Hannah Azzopardi: My Partner and I visited for my birthday and had the most wonderful night! Kayleigh was such a pleasure and lovely to talk to. And to all the chefs in the kitchen that night, the food was impeccable! We both had starters, mains and desserts but those ribeyes were just gorgeous- cooked spot on! Although we’re not local, we wish that we were so we could visit more often. Thank you for such a wonderful and peaceful night ! X
