5 /5 Alexandra Leenen: Lovely oysters, lovely crab, lovely atmosphere, lovely staff. I was here on my own with my dog. Very dog friendly. Can recommend it.

4 /5 Cherished Pets of Brentwood: A lovely pub right on the beach. Reasonable prices for drinks. Very dog friendly. Mu husband, my doggy Koda and myself visited whilst out for the day in Whitstable. I only gave 4 stars as I didnt try the food this time but I will update my review if I do.

3 /5 allan colic: Got the cod with chips and mushy peas. The cod had a perfect batter and was super crispy, however a thicker piece would have made it perfect. The chips were awful, raw potato’s lightly fried, not crispy at all. The mushy peas were delicious though and might have been the best part. The atmosphere is great since the location gives you a break from the city. The interior had charm and fit the theme very well.

5 /5 Rich Jarvis: on a day trip with my Son to taste the Oysters and dropped by the Old Neptune for a couple of pints and a bite to eat. We had our two dogs with us, so sat outside. What a glorious day and peaceful location. We had the seafood box each with salad and chips, and I must say how impressive the food was, as was the price. I even managed to get a couple of sausages for the dogs. Lovely staff, friendly service, great atmosphere and fabulous food. Cant wait to return. Highly recommended, you wont be disappointed.
