Original Taste - (Near Tower Hamlets, South East)

3 /5 Robi H: I was attending a training course near by in the Bow area and found Original grill on Google as I needed a quick bite. The staff was friendly and courteous, especially the man on the till who greeted me with a big smile. The food was delicious and had a nice kick to it. I enjoyed the variety of dishes and sauces they offered. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The only thing that could be improved was the ambiance and hygiene of the place. It looked a bit dull, so I asked him what their hygiene rating was and I was informed that it was 4 stars down from 5 recently after an inspection - I agree with this score. I hope they can spruce it up a bit and make it more inviting and comfortable.

1 /5 C: DO NOT ORDER ON UBER EATS. They constantly mess up my order and for some reason i’m unable to get a refund through uber eats from this restaurant’s as the order’s are “not eligible for a refund” I ordered 6 barbecue wings and they’ve only given me 4. It wouldn’t be that big of a deal, IF THIS WASN’T THE TENTH TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. I’ve called the restaurant previously, and they said they’d get back to me after checking cctv, but as they were closing, they never did.

5 /5 Julianna Eldridge: First off this is the best fried chicken around and honestly up there with the best I’ve tried in my life! Prices are very reasonable! I was shocked to learn you could get 40 wings for £20! Great for a party!! I’ve only gotten the hot wings so I don’t know how the rest is. But menus with lots of other things I also hope to try. Garlic sauce in the chips is a must, really delis garlic sauce!! Atmosphere and service is what you’d expect, no frills but good enough.

5 /5 Robin Edwards: Original Taste is a Bow institution, been coming here for years. The best fried chicken in the area, great service and really friendly and lovely staff. They always look after me. Highly recommend them.

5 /5 Syed Bokhari: Really impressive fast food place that delivers on taste. These guys have a very diverse menu from fast food burgers and wings to Indian and kebabs. I must say that the chicken fillet burger meal was outstanding. Really crispy, flavourful succulent burger in a well put together bun of mayo and fresh shredded lettuce accompanied by a nice portion of crunchy chips, delivered hot. The veggie burger was also very decent. Nice fried meat and veg samosas as well. Overall the food quality was decent and I will definitely be ordering again. Good delivery time with driver location tracking on Just Eat. 5 stars well deserved. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
