There aren’t many spots in Clapham that aren’t completely overpriced with a good balance of hospitable waiters, and this place gets it perfect. Wonderful Aperol Spritz and a well done Old Fashioned, good portion sizes for the money spent and fantastic interior

5 /5 Nicola Pennisi: We had a great night at Osteria Mbare. Excellent food, service and cocktails. The octopus and endive salad was fantastic. The seafood spaghetti and mushroom & truffle fettuccine were both delicious. We were too full for dessert unfortunately. Highly recommend this restaurant.

5 /5 Aliza Maryam: Came for the bottomless pasta. Drinks were topped up fairly quickly however the food was lacking protein, it was tasty but value for money I wouldn’t massively recommend! It was a normal restaurant vibe so nice and not too loud and busy, which can sometimes be the case with bottomless menus.

5 /5 Howard Tanya (The Live Review London): If you’re looking for a unique bottomless brunch experience, the bottomless pasta and bubbles deal is perfect. You get to try multiple pastas (we made it through 5), paired with Prosecco (mimosas/Bellinis should you prefer) for 90 minutes, and dietaries are taken into account. We came for our birthdays and had the best time, looked after by Guglielmo. Music plays in the background but not too loud that you can’t have a catch up at the same time

5 /5 AlexC: What a great spot. The food was exceptional. Octopus isnt always easy to get right but this was perfectly cooked and presented simply. The mushroom and seafood pastas were both excellent. Nicely fitted out, excellent service from Italians, reasonable prices. My only comment would be that either the prawns need to be de-veined or they should give you a bowl of water for rinsing your fingers One of the best Italian restaurants in the area.
