5 /5 Paul Boakes: Visited as a family of four, and opted for the £58 ROKA han setto brunch menu. The starters were fantastic, with an endless supply - until your mains are served - of salad, chicken, dumplings, sushi, kim chi, endamame and sashimi. My advice would be to fill up on the starters because... ...the mains werent quite as good. We had the sirloin, which was good, but the ribs (pictured) and the salmon (pictured) were lacking on the flavour. Nothing particularly wrong, they just didnt have the wow factor of the starters. I was also surprised by one portion of steamed rice being delivered: unexpected, un-asked for and fortunately, un-charged for as well. It wasnt mentioned on the menu...?!?! Dessert (pictured), however, recovered the game, and was a selection of chilled, frozen and fresh items: banana ice cream, sorbet, cheesecake, fruits, and so on. Service was inpeccable - spot on, attentive, polite, efficient, friendly. Absolutely flawless. Total bill came to £350 including service for 4 x adults at £58/each plus 7 x beers, and 3 x diet coke. We were in and out within 90 minutes on a lively Sunday lunchtime. Top tip: book for the lounge, which is much quieter and airier than the more enclosed area at the back of the restuarant. And it can be a little tricky to find, as its on the first floor of a building - took us a few minutes, and this was a second visit!

5 /5 Ekleba OS: Roka Canary Wharf absolutely crushed it for dinner. I kicked off with a Porn Star Martini, which was decent, but the true star was the Sakura 75 cocktail (which went down so quick I didnt get a photo of it) —it was absolutely delicious and highly recommended, definitely a must-try! For food, everything we had was great, especially the grilled prawns with miso butter (seriously amazing!) and the crab and prawn dumplings. My dining partners beef skewers were nice, but unfortunately came out a bit too charred. Thankfully, the kitchen fixed it instantly with a replacement, which showed great service recovery. Dessert was divine; the crème brûlée with pistachio ice cream is the perfect way to finish the meal. A huge highlight was the service. Our waiter was so attentive and incredible with handling my dining partner’s dairy allergy, paying real attention to detail and even letting us know about dairy in the dishes I ordered. Overall, a genuinely fantastic dining experience with brilliant food and top-tier service. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Pavan Mason: Roka in Canary Wharf is a stylish spot, located on the first floor, with a smart and refined atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for a great dining experience. We opted for the express lunch menu, priced at £27 per person, which felt like excellent value for the quality and quantity of food. Portion sizes were generous, leaving us more than satisfied. Standout dishes included the prawn tempura, which was light and crisp, and the pork ribs, which were perfectly balanced in flavour and tenderness. The restaurant itself is sleek and well-presented, making it ideal for both business lunches and relaxed catch-ups. The only downside was the dessert offering, which felt a little limited compared to the rest of the menu. That said, the overall experience was very enjoyable, and the food more than made up for it.

5 /5 Hazel I: Honestly, one of the best bottomless brunches I’ve been to. The starters are definitely the highlight, they completely steal the show. The drinks and mains were okay but the starters were outstanding. I highly recommend the sushi with salmon on top, the fried chicken and the prawn dumplings, absolutely amazing and full of flavour. I had the ribs, which were fine. The only downside was the wine quality, most of us opted for the Prosecco after the welcome Bellini. Overall, a great experience and I’d happily return later this year.

5 /5 Mohammed Kiani: ROKA Canary Wharf was a pleasant surprise. While sushi isn’t usually my first choice, the food here was genuinely impressive and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere is energetic and vibrant, with an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs at work on the grills. The service was a real highlight. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. Our server was particularly excellent — she clearly explained the menus and proactively checked which options were suitable for us. We ordered the Hinadori no Lemon Miso Yaki (cedar-roast baby chicken) from the bottomless brunch menu, which she confirmed was halal. I couldn’t quite finish the chicken, having already filled up on the generous selection of starters, so it’s worth pacing yourself if you opt for the bottomless brunch. The restaurant feels like an experience rather than just a meal. The décor is stylish, and the location in the heart of Canary Wharf is ideal, just a short walk from the DLR. A thoughtful touch came at the end of the meal when, after mentioning it was my wife’s birthday, our dessert arrived with a small handwritten note written in chocolate. It was a simple but memorable gesture, and the perfect way to end the lunch. Would I return? While sushi isn’t something I’d choose regularly, I would happily revisit ROKA for the atmosphere and the high-quality grilled dishes. A polished dining experience that’s well worth a visit.
