Joe King I picked up some noodles on my way home - £6 for a huge portion of singapore noodles, was worried they wouldnt take card but they only have a minimum of a fiver. Noodles took 5 mins to get ready and they gave me some free prawn crackers!! Really good noodles very happy

Dean Kerwin A decent full English at what I believe to be a decent price these days! £14.95 for a full English, with a tea/coffee, a choice of breads either toasted, B&B or fried. They even encourage you to swap items that you dislike to help them reduce their food waste.

Ela Gorla Vel is one of my favourite restaurants in Brighton and one of the best South Indian restaurants I ever tried. I spent 5 months in South India in 2024 so when I moved to Brighton I was desperate to find a place where I could enjoy authentic South Indian food and I’m thrilled I discovered Vel. The food tastes exactly like the food I used to eat in India and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for true Indian flavours.

I am soo glad it picked here, we arrived on a Saturday evening though it was busy due to due the airshow, the staff manage to get us seated. The members of staff were so welcoming and friendly. Keeva Butler A lovely tea shop with some delicious cakes. We stopped whilst doing The South Downs Way walk and had a delicious cream tea with beautiful homemade scones, jam and clotted cream. Would highly recommend this place for a light bite and some lovely sweet treats.
