Storm - (Near Hillingdon, South East)

1 /5 Rita C: We ordered from Storm in Ruislip this evening after seeing so many positive reviews, but unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing. The quality of the food was far below expectations. The lamb kafta had an unpleasant smell, similar to old fast-food meat akin to burger van meat being left out all day, and the lamb shawarma was unappetising in both appearance and taste, being very dry and tough like an old boot. We tried a few bites but couldn’t continue and ended up throwing the food away. Sadly, nothing about the meal reflected the reviews we had read. This was a very poor experience and not one we would repeat or recommend.

4 /5 Vicki Yung: I found this place searching for somewhere interesting to eat within walking distance to the Cineworld. We had the mezze and the portions were generous. The food was well presented, flavourful and high quality. Service was attentive whilst also allowing us our own space to enjoy the food. The Tabbouleh salad is new on the menu and was a highlight as well as the Kebbeh and Loaded Fries. We had to rush off to our movie and they also let us box up leftovers. We were only disappointed that we couldnt stay to try the Baklava for dessert. However the ABSOLUTE BEST thing was the Lemon and Mint Lemonade! Utterly zingy, it packed a punch and was really refreshing. Totally moorish. The venue is also a shisha lounge and is a modest size. They had opened up the roof for the hot day as this was during the heatwave. There was a bit of ambivalence lacking with the radio interspersed with a lot of adverts which I found a bit distracting and jarring but I would definitely eat there again and its easily one of the best places to eat in the area.

5 /5 CGe0: Really enjoyed my visit to Storm. Went there for my nieces birthday treat. The food was good quality, served in decent portions, and moderately priced. The place has a certain vibe to it. The staff were professional and very friendly, making the experience even better. Would happily recommend it to anyone looking for good food and great service in a nice setting.

5 /5 The Sandman & HK Show!: Mohammad provided me with a great customer service during lunchtime by recommending the lebanese lamb pizza, which was nice and I also ordered the tasty loaded skin on crispy chips with mixed shawarma (lamb and chicken) that looked wow and was tasty (please see my pics) as well as a big portion. For my drink I ordered a lovely fresh apple juice. Rod the chef was awesome and mashaAllah full of life (youll see what I mean when you meet him). Overall an amazing customer experience from Muhammad and Rod backed up with good food, so I definitely recommend paying Storm a visit!
