Survivor Caribbean restaurant - (Near Lewisham, South East)

1 /5 althea donn: Order from uber paid for meal, part of order did not come. Took ages to get through to be told come and collect or re order. I asked for a refund they could not do. Also if you wanted to order vegetables you have to order a rice. WHY?

3 /5 Blake Rema “sinere”: It was ok . The rice was ok and so was the curry goat. The meat could have had more flavour and the curry goat was more gravy than anything else. Very watery but was ok. It was delivered hot and didn’t take too long. They just need to work on the curry goat as the gravy shouldn’t be so runny

5 /5 Sharon Brown: Decided to pop in to see what they had. we were very impressed. We ordered oxtail with rice and peas, fried chicken with dumplings and also with rice and peas with stew chicken gravey. We also got a chicken pattie ans a saltfish fritter, which was huge. Food was very good. Would definitely go back. Prices were reasonable considering the portion size.

1 /5 Deborah McDonald: I have supported this new and local restaurant since it opened, however will NEVER return due to the extremely poor customer service experience received yesterday. Having spent over £50 on food for myself and my family, we arrived home to discover that 2 dishes were missing. We called Survivor and were told that there was nothing they could do about it, they would not deliver our missing dishes and said we had to return for them. Upon returning we requested an extra dish for the inconvenience caused and were refused this. We asked to speak to the manager, who sadly was rude, unmannerly and discourteous towards us. She offered us a portion of plain rice, which was politely refused as we had already purchased 3 portions of rice. After much discussion and persuasion from us, they went in the back and gave us a portion of burnt, inedible jerk wings, which we assume would have been kept to be sold today. After all of the hassle, the food we had purchased was cold, salty, greasy, clumpy, mediocre and extremely disappointing. With many other restaurant choices available including the menu at Jerk Spice, Chingford, it is safe to say that we will not be returning to Survivor ever again. It is noted on other reviews that missing items seems to be a bit of a trend there. We would recommend a training session for staff at Survivor on customer service/customer satisfaction, as following the dire and disgraceful service yesterday, you have now lost the custom of myself, all of my family and friends.

5 /5 Gordon Shola: Ive only ever ordered off Uber Eats, as their Deliveroo doesnt have the option to add rice / hard food. I am pretty happy most the time, the food is always hot, and well wrapped. Once I orders a saltfish patty and they sent a saltfish fritter instead but I was able to get that resolved. Theyre the only Caribbean place who consistently have hard food on offer which is really nice. Ive never waited a long time for good but I never really order peak times.
