4 /5 Isabel: Really amazing food, good spice levels and a range of dishes for a decent price. The suya is 10/10. Also loved the Nigerian Fanta and coke.
However, the restaurant itself is chaotic from the moment we stepped in. The staff are really trying their best but haven’t been able to keep up with the popularity and it’s a very stressful environment. The staff don’t seem to have access to the WhatsApp messages leading to a lot of miscommunication on number of guests etc, arrival times etc.
It’s a very small space which gets crowded making it hard to even access the buffet which is by the front door. There’s a step by the front door where the buffet is which a few of my guests tripped over and nearly dropped their food.
We started our buffet late due to having to wait for previous guests to finish and then there were no plates available so had to ask for this. There were also only small wooden forks available.
Additionally, the buffet is not refilled very regularly, it’s meant to be every half an hour but for most of the time we were there, nearly everything was empty, which was really disappointing.
Might be better to try the food stall down the road. Amazing food and hopefully in time the service improves.
