Tagine Restaurant - (Near , South East)

4 /5 Leaburn: I returned to this restaurant fifteen years after my first visit and I’m pleased to see it’s not become a tired offering. Really nice tagine and the starters/side dishes were well spiced. Lovely fruit mocktail that I’d certainly recommend. Atmosphere is fun and transports you to Morocco but music gets strangely loud at times. Service was very friendly but a little lacking in the finer details. Price was fair.

5 /5 Rachel D: Wow wow wow wow wow. We just celebrated my sisters 40th at Tagine and it was the best decision. They were SO accommodating, enabling us to do our own tablescaping - and we arrived with a diverse group, including very elderly relatives - the Tagine staff couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful. We LOVED the birthday drums and everything was just perfect from start to finish. The decor - perfection.

5 /5 Zane Praulina: First time I’ve been to this restaurant. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and really makes you feel like as if you’re in Morocco. The food was amazing, especially the lamb on cous cous. Just melted in your mouth. We also had the mixed grill and chicken tagine with a vegetarian aubergine dish which was everyone’s favourite. Then we had some tea at the end which was delicious and some sweets. I would highly recommend for great food and atmosphere.

5 /5 Tayeb Amroussi: We had a genuinely lovely experience at Tajine and it was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. We booked in advance for Valentine’s and the set menu was clearly explained to us when confirming the reservation, which we were happy with. From the moment we arrived, the team were warm and attentive despite it being a very busy evening. The atmosphere was lively but still comfortable, and we were seated in a pleasant area where we could enjoy the evening without any issues. The food was excellent. The starters were fresh and full of flavour, and the main tajine was perfectly cooked, tender and well seasoned. Everything arrived in good time considering how busy the restaurant was. The bread and tea were served as expected and rounded off the meal nicely. We were dining with a young child and the staff were very accommodating and kind, which we really appreciated. It’s clearly a welcoming, family-friendly place. Overall, great service, great food and a really enjoyable evening. We’ll definitely be coming back and would happily recommend Tajine to others.

5 /5 Emmeline OGorman: You absolutely HAVE to come here!! The food is incredible, we had the lamb shoulder to share and it was melt in the mouth - very decent portion sizes too! The vibe is intimate and cosy, perfect for a date night. It’s BYOB too with lots of shops nearby. Can’t wait to come again, thank you!!
