Tasty Gyros Enfield Town - (Near Enfield, South East)

5 /5 Rinnah Kamwanga: I visited Tasty Gyros in Enfield Town Today after school around 3pm to try gyros for the first time, and overall I had a positive experience. When I entered, the place wasn’t busy and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and polite. I ordered a chicken gyro for £8.25 as a takeaway. The waiting time was reasonable, and the staff kindly asked if I needed a bag and cutlery, which I appreciated. When I got home, the packaging was secure and well-presented. The flavours were enjoyable — the tzatziki had a nice, fresh yoghurt taste, the chicken was well-cooked and tasty, and the bread was soft, which I really liked. Although the chips were a bit soggy and dry, it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience. Overall, my first time trying gyros was a good one, and I would consider returning. 5 /5 Gordon Au: First time to this shop, and honestly I can’t really tell it’s Greek or other style. But the food quality was really good and in big portion as well! Meat was so tender and juicy, the halloumi fried was really good too. Will definitely come back again.

2 /5 Antony Nektarios: I ordered a big takeaway today from Tasty Gyros - Enfield Town for £108.90 to eat at home with a few people over. To be honest, I was really disappointed, and so was everyone else. When I ordered, I clearly asked for the pitas to be properly cooked, meaning nicely grilled and lightly oiled. What we got instead were very dry pitas, with no oil at all. The skewer meals came without any grilled pita or bread, and no extra lemon. It honestly felt like the food was just put together quickly - meat and chips in a box, that’s it. The chicken skewers were undercooked in places, slightly pink and very soft, even though I asked for them well done. The pork was the same in parts and had more fat than meat. The chips weren’t great, and even though I asked for cheese on them, it wasn’t added. The gyros (both pork and chicken) had more salad and chips than actual meat. Even the tzatziki in the pita was a very small amount. Overall, the whole thing felt rushed and careless. I’ve ordered from here before and it was fine, which is why this was disappointing. This time, neither I nor my guests were happy, and the food didn’t feel worth what we paid. It’s not really about the money - it’s about trust. I chose this place expecting decent food, and honestly, it let me down. This review is written as honest feedback, with the aim of improvement.
