temper City – Steak, Tacos & BBQ Restaurant - (Near City of London, South East)

4 /5 Andrea Pavkovic: We used First Table for our Friday evening dinner at Temper City. The team first could not find our booking so my friend had to wait as she arrived early. This was rectified after about 15mins. We all had sirloin steak with sides. Cocktails were very good as was the desert (only pic I took unfortunately). Table service was OK but we did wait quite a while for items to arrive, including drinks. For a restaurant that was not at more than 70% capacity by the time we left, I expected better. Overall a 4* due to food and drink quality.

5 /5 Deana Butler: A group of 7 of us booked a table very last minute and were extremely well looked after and welcomed. It was Taco Tuesday and I can recommend the £6 spicy Margaritas! All the food was amazing, especially the burrata and the prawn tacos. Would like to return to try the steaks!

5 /5 Swet Lii: Great place, absolutely loved the food and the cookie and ice cream dessert!!! Will definitely be back again. Modern restaurant with a nice atmosphere, casual yet upmarket vibe.

5 /5 Tom: I had dinner here with a colleague on a Monday night. It was relatively quiet but then the city always is on a Monday. The decor is very nice and there is lots of space so would be interesting to see the vibe of the place when it’s full. The small plates are essentially starters and we shared the pork bites and burnt ends between two and it was probably enough. The menu is interesting! For the mains my colleague had the ribeye and I had the fillet steak. We had a side of mash with gravy and also the loaded style chips. The steaks were delicious. Really tender and cooked to perfection. The meat was great. Really up there. Big shout out to the gravy mash combo too. That was immense. The service was efficient and felt a bit upsell a few times but again that’s the city for you. We stuck with what we wanted and it was seriously good. Would definitely go back. It’s not cheap but it’s worth it.
