The Inn On The Green - (Near Berkshire, South East)

4 /5 Emma Mayer: Beautiful rural location, 10 minutes to the nearest town by car or half an hour to walk. We stayed here in the Crash pad room for two nights as we had a wedding in the area. Pros: hot and powerful shower, comfortable bed, gorgeous location, continental breakfast included (can upgrade at weekends to cooked) and friendly staff. Cons: the shower tray design was ridiculous and flooded the bathroom with every use, the heating in the room didnt fully function so we had to use a portable heater. The floor in our room wasnt fully clean and Id get filthy feet walking from my shower back to my bed. The curtains over the glass door didnt fully reach the end of the pole so I had to wedge it shut with a chair to make sure no one could peep through from the patio to see my bed. Overall: a perfectly pleasant stay and it served a purpose for what we needed. It could do with a little spruce and tweaks in places and a deep clean of the floors with it being rural and likely to tread mud. Id stay here again, but I would upgrade to a different room as the crash pad had its flaws.

5 /5 Kim van den Bogaerde: I had arrived from Hong Kong at 5am on 19th December and my husband had arranged to have breakfast at the Inn on the Green prior to a funeral at Cookham Dean Church at 11am that morning. The hotel very kindly allowed us to use one of the rooms to change, leave our car in the carpark for the day, and would only accept a payment for breakfast. Their welcoming staff and generous hospitality is hugely appreciated, thank you so much and Happy Christmas to you all.

5 /5 Anna Jedrzejek: I came here just for the restaurant and it was delicious. Our waitress, Molly, was so great and talked us through the menu. She also pours a great Guinness. Walked around the outside and it was very nice. Definitely recommend

5 /5 Hannah Chen: Weve stayed two days at this hotel, its been incredible - beautiful, clean, and the staff are the most lovely people. The food is the best Ive had in years. The Sunday lunch was pure perfection and the dinner menu we had on Monday evening was superb as well. We had been in Marlow the previous days but didnt have anything as good as this in the restaurants in Marlow. The rooms (we stayed in 1 standard and 1 deluxe) are immaculately clean, overall very pleasant. The pool and the garden are very lovely with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views. There are some good places to go for a walk nearby, easy to reach on foot to walk my dog. The staff members elevate this place to the next level; my dog especially loved the tall blonde beautiful girl who works at the restaurant because she was so friendly to him, what a lovely person. All the staff here are exceptionally kind, we really appreciated Emma and Jules going out of their way to be helpful and friendly to us, you cant find a more lovely environment. We will be recommending this place to our friends and colleagues as a gorgeous getaway not far from Oxford and London.

5 /5 Andreas Michler: We spent a night here by chance while passing through. We were thrilled. The atmosphere, the drinks and food, as well as the helpful staff, everything was top-notch. We will definitely spend our vacation in this area and at this hotel. Our two dogs were also welcome and felt at home. A clear 5-star rating.
