3 /5 lovely mum: Very generous with portion size, took about 50 mins for our roast, cauliflower was cold, potatoes over cooked, meat was good.
5 /5 Sue Gidney: Such a beautiful gem !
We had a really delicious lunch at The Jolly Farmer, great location next to a beautiful walk ,pub has got Such beautiful decor, inside and outside seating, really beautiful garden area, staff friendly and accommodating, definitely worth a visit, great find !!
3 /5 Bonnie Tan: Firstly, the person who served us, likely to be the landlady is lovely. Very accommodating and great banter. The food was nice with just a small issue like the chips werent tripple cooked when its supposed to be. The big surprise are the costs of the Special dishes which were told to us verbally, so no price. We ordered tempura prawns, only given 3 prawns at £11 and for mains ‐ chicken and leek pie, £22! Far too expensive for a pie considering the pork belly was £17. Our fault for not asking the price but wasnt expecting £22 for pie.
5 /5 Bea&Simo: We’ll never forget this place. The staff is very kind and lovely, open to help in any possible way! Atmosphere was incredibly peaceful and we’re in love with the furniture. Food also great (we had the vegan options and cannot wait to try more)! What made us love this place even more, is their kindness also towards dogs: they brought some snacks and have a dog menu! Very recommended stopping by and enjoying this place that has so much to offer.
3 /5 Pacholska Dora (DoraTheExplorer): We’ve been visiting this place for years. Always walk the dog in the woods first and then have lunch in the pub. Food used to be amazing but something recently has changed and we decided no longer dine there. One week our Sunday roast arrived semi cold and the display lack the usual wow factor. The other week triple cooked chips were soggy and pale. We also had an extra meal added to our order which got noticed after we paid - they have refunded it on our request. This place is still very nice and staff are super friendly and attentive yet the kitchen maybe needs a new chef?
christopher paige Petersfield Royal British Legion held their annual Xmas dinner here for the first time.
communication prior to the day was really clear and punctual responses meant there was very little stress for the organisers.
the food was amazing and the staff were extremely welcoming and professional.
BornLate56 Ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken, which came with boiled rice. The dish was tasty and fresh, and piping hot! Service was quick and the young lady behind the counter was friendly. Generous portion,
Karen Thomson Myself, my husband and our 2 German Shepherds ate here this evening for the first time The food was excellent. I had the fish and chips which were delicious and my husband had the rump steak and he said it was probably the best rump
steak he has ever had. All the food was cooked to perfection. The service was also excellent Karen and Shonna were extremely friendly and very welcoming, which made the experience even more special. Thank you. We will definitely eat here again and would highly recommend both the food and service
Ellie Freeman We’re staying at a campsite in West Meon, gave the guys a call who were more than accommodating with delivery etc. Placed an order with expectations set it’d be about 1hr, arrived in 50mins. We ordered the set menu for 2 - absolutely cracking dishes. Really tasty and authentic jalfrezi and rogan josh, good sides and decent portions - enough for lunch the next day! Really lovely delivery driver too, couldn’t recommend enough. Will order again when back in the area for sure. 10/10.
