1 /5 Colin Roberts: Went to the pub today to watch rugby. We had been sat on a table for two hours when the manager told us that we had to move for these other people even though they had not booked the table. When I objected he said “I tell you what to do you don’t tell me!” He was very aggressive and threatening. Fortunately the lads who were taking the table said we could sit with them and we had a good afternoon. The manager’s attitude was appalling! We will never go back again!!!

5 /5 nadine fouletier: This is a Stonegate proper pub located on one of Readings high streets. Its recent refurbishment has really given it a new edge! Music, TVs with sport on everyday, live music or DJs on the weekends... Open from 9am till late, it offers everything from great tasting full English breakfasts to craft beer, burger deals and 2-4-1 cocktails. Theres a wide variety of wines, spirits, and beer of course, and the food quality is more than satisfying. Staff are very friendly and will welcome you and advise you on what to pick if youre unsure or need a little help. Definitely a must if youre in Reading!

1 /5 Misako Minshull: NOT RECOMMENDED. Worst pub experience I ever had, I think. I was there with my friend this afternoon (16th) for a couple of hours. When we went in, there was nobody in the first part of the pub (bar area) to even greet us, whatsoever. When got to the second part of the pub at the back , there were I think 3 young men behind the counter not doing much but again, none of them came to greet us. So, we went up to them to ask if they do lunch, they said yes, menu is on the table, so after deciding what to have, we went up to the counter to order. Those young lads had no smile, no enthusiasm, nothing. Ok, and food? A bit of chicken with melted cheese on top, then a bit of bacon on top of it with tiny fried tomato, peas and chips. That, with diet coke, it was nearly 17 pounds. While we were eating , guys were standing behind the counter talking to themselves , didnt even BOTHERED to ask us if everything was ok. Oh and some of the seats were very dirty! I mean, DIRTY. This pub also had the dirtiest toilet Ive seen in pub. And there was only one working toilet (ladies). I dont recommend the place, and Ill never go there, again. I told my friend who gave them a tip (only because it is Christmas!) she shouldnt have.
