The Red Lion Inn - (Near , South East)

4 /5 Mick Pinching: Only a quick stop for a pint. Which was a decent pint of Hooky and very nice too. The place itself is a great place to stop if you are passing, the food I saw being served looked very nice too. Last time I ate here was years ago so cant comment on the taste glad it has survived and will be back soon .

5 /5 Brooke Witt: Thank you Lisa and team for the wonderful time at the Red Lion Inn! We enjoyed a weekend getaway from busy London to the beautiful Cotswold countryside. The Red Lion did not disappoint. Very kid friendly (3 year old and 8 month old) we enjoyed the nature and amazing breakfast. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable - just what we needed after a day of adventuring. We will be back!

5 /5 Helen S: Fabulous and comfortable overnight stay Comfy beds with amazing pillows. Staff are fab and ensured we had what we needed. Special mention to Carl / Betty and looking after flowers. Eaten here many times but first stay. Highly recommend.

3 /5 Beth Noy: The service was great- friendly, welcoming staff, we were well looked after in that sense.! The vegan roast was delicious, I enjoyed the home made nut roast very much. The Yorkshire was spot on as were the steamed veg.... However, the other sides were a few not-really-crispy roast potatoes, a small piece of butternut squash, and a picturesque parsnip. where was the mashed swede, the stuffing and the braised cabbage?! The gravy was frugal, and a boat of such a sauce would be a better companion to what is meant to be a true English feast. The friends I was with had the cow based roast dinner, they mentioned that the slices of beef were very thin and had excessive fat. We were told that they were the last two, so perhaps the price should have reflected that if they werent getting a standard portion. We have been working very hard on a local orchard and expected a little more for the premium that we paid. (veggie-£19, meat-£24) The deserts were quite delicious and very beautifully presented!!! 5 /5 Sarah Reed: We have been having wonderful meals at The Red Lion for a number of years when we visit the area. A dog friendly pub (often a good sign) set in a convenient location with plenty of parking. The food is exceptional, genuinely the best we have had in the Cotswolds. I cannot adequately recommend it highly enough. The atmosphere is welcoming and cosy. A great team who are friendly and attentive. It is worth the long drive to have a meal at this beautiful pub.
