5 /5 Lisa Moore: A traditional pub in the City. We had toasties, which were fab. The staff were friendly and the service was great. Nice atmosphere but it was very quiet for a Thurs lunchtime.

5 /5 D P: A fantastic pub a couple of minutes from Barbican tube station. Dropped in for a couple of pints before a gig at the Barbican one Saturday in November 25. Service at the bar was quick and efficient, there werent too many folks in probably because it was an hour before last orders. If youre thinking of going at the weekend its recommended to check the opening and closing times.

4 /5 Steve Bintley: A small and very traditional pub provided an enjoyable evening drink. The bar staff are very friendly and welcoming and there’s a good range of drinks on offer. It’s also great that they have a wine tasting machine - purchase a card and dispense as much or little of each bottle to sample different varieties. Just a shame there weren’t many bottles included. The atmosphere is relaxing, with no background music and the small size means there isn’t much chatter. Toilets are upstairs along with another space. My only complaint would be the very high prices - a double gin and glass of wine came to almost thirty pounds which felt very excessive. But otherwise I’d recommend for a relaxing and peaceful evening.

5 /5 Harry Lee: Been coming here for about 2 years off and on. Staff always lovely a food is also good. Have to say though the pub is a beautiful pub with a recent refurbishment which really kept the original character. Special shout out to the events they have on here the general manager really puts in the effort. :)

4 /5 1956gooner: This is a nice Fullers pub. It is rather small but they do have an upstairs wine room and limited exterior seating. I opted for a double Makers Mark (£11) which is at the top end of the price range. The cheapest whisky is £5, Johnnie Walker red. They had 3 cask ales including London Pride at £6.25. They also offer a limited food menu, mainly toasties starting at £8. The large bay window and skylark provide ample natural light. The toilets are upstairs which may be difficult for the less mobile. In summary a nice bar with excellent service.
