5 /5 Graddy 61: Visited on a Saturday lunchtime whilst on a walk along the Kennet and Avon canal. Excellent food, beer and service. Very friendly.

5 /5 Michael Jones: To be fair we only had chips and a drink, which you can’t really get wrong. The service though was lovely and very welcoming and the pub had a lovely atmosphere, it on our list to come again and sample one of their pies, looks delicious.

4 /5 Rahul Narvekar: Nice countryside atmosphere and very local vibe. Beer and cider was fresh and staff was very happy to help out. Felt welcoming after a long days walk. Definitely a good choice with the beer garden attached. Couldnt try the food though.

5 /5 Oliver Bayley: Excellent food here, as well as a good selection of drinks and friendly service. In addition, this is a "dog friendly" pub, offering a garden area and the freedom to bring four-legged friends into the pub. While I was there guests included large families with children as well as couples. Dogs were kept very much under control. The dining area is spread over at least two large rooms and is very clean and well-maintained. At the time I visited (Christmas), a two course meal was under 25 pounds and a three course meal for 28 (not including alcohol). Highly recommended and I will go again.
