Three Darlings - (Near Westminster, South East)

4 /5 Travelling Doc: Listed in the Michelin Guide, Three Darlings is a modern bistro tucked away on pedestrian Pavilion Road, just a short walk from Sloane Square tube station. You descend a few steps into what feels like a little oasis of greenery, with outdoor courtyard seating leading into an elegant Art Deco–style dining room. Inside, the space features beautiful tiled floors in black and white marble, a striking staircase down to the toilets, a bar at one end, and an open kitchen at the other, with a split-level dining layout. We visited for brunch and tried the Lobster Royale — essentially eggs Benedict elevated with generous lobster meat, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, and a perfectly crisp, toasted muffin. It came as two pieces and was very well executed. The scrambled eggs were also beautifully presented, though I didn’t personally try them. The cocktails were excellent. The Bloody Mary was potent, well-balanced, and flavourful. The Pandan Martini was a standout — a creative and delicious twist, with a creamy top and aromatic pandan notes that reminded me of the Malaysian dessert ‘seri muka’, made with rice and coconut at the base and pandan coconut on top. Service was attentive, efficient, and genuinely friendly, and the overall dining experience was both delightful and highly enjoyable.

5 /5 Quietly Rated: Three Darlings offers a very pleasant experience overall, with friendly, forthcoming staff and a sense of calm that comes from a well-managed restaurant. The open kitchen adds a nice touch and gives the place a bit of extra character. We went for brunch - solid rather than standout - but the roast and lunch/dinner dishes looked especially strong and worth returning for. It can get a little loud at times, though still comfortable enough to enjoy a relaxed meal. Quietly rated: worth stopping.

5 /5 R_Oz Oz: I had a fabulous lunch at the Three Darlings. The food was exceptional, the quality of the food it is extremely high end, with fresh flavours and interesting in a great way. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant. I highly recommend this restaurant. The members of staff were absolutely incredible.

4 /5 The Wayfarer: The food wasn’t too bad but I found the menu that was outside misleading. For example, the lobster florentine was listed as £12 but I was charged £24. Maybe consider updating the outside menu. The matcha drinks were nice and on point. Service was also not to be faulted. I spent £82 for just 2 people to have breakfast (3 dishes, 2 matcha lattes and £3 still water)
