Wendys - (Near Hampshire, South East)

3 /5 Mohamed Nassaar Ali: I have ordered spicy chicken combo but its not worth for the price(9 quids). Burger needs to be hot and crispy in my pov. The only thing that shocked me is the toilets that are well maintained and clean. I have seen nowhere like this. Hatsoff! Note: For halal hunters, "only crispy chicken and nuggets are halal", they told.

4 /5 Allen Glen: This was our first visit to a Wendys in the UK, disappointed that it was all self serve and not table service however the restaurant was clean and tidy. Order via the touchscreen via contactless payment then pick up at the kitchen window. There is plenty of seating, a coke freestyle machine and condiments. The food was very good, we had the chicken nuggets and cheesy fries, mozzarella sticks and a bacon chicken burger with avocado. Prices were very reasonable, cheaper than the big M and food quality was far superior. Not many food options in the town centre so was quite popular at the time of our visit.

4 /5 ESTHER: Was in Portsmouth this afternoon and really wanted to try Wendy’s. Had the Jr Bacon Cheeseburger Meal- put medium fries (50p+) and regular Vanilla Frosty (50p+). Whole order game to £4.89!! Generally nice bright fast food chain, colours remind me of like a farm (but in a good way!). Surface areas seemed really nice and clean and even though it was a Saturday afternoon, didn’t feel chaotic. Staff were nice and efficient, didn’t even wait 5 minutes for my order despite it being busier to due it being a weekend day. Really enjoyed the burger- nice, fresh, well seasoned patty, enjoyable. The fries were so nice though! A bit too salty however the seasoning was really good and the salt still worked (just that some chips had more salt than others). The frosty was so nice as well and the regular is a lot bigger than what was shown on the initial ordering kiosk (which is always a plus) Generally whenever I’m in Portsmouth and I need a quick snack, definitely coming to Wendy’s! Can have a whole meal for under £5 (unlike some other famous fast food chains), doesn’t even taste like fast food, very fresh feeling. Quick service and clean areas, it’s a nice addition to the Portsmouth high street. Add ons are really cheap as well, so value for money is really there! Wendy’s: 4/5 stars

5 /5 Kate Hare: The food looks fresh but its minimal for price you pay. Could be displayed better. The staff look annoyed about everything. Drinks machine wasnt wprking and noone shared amd when asked they were almost annoyed we asked. It was not busy. The place is clean

5 /5 Kristyn: The food was great, and tasted much better even than any Wendys Ive been to in the US (with the exception of one in Scottsdale). The chicken sandwich was perfectly assembled with fresh ingredients, the Biscoff Frosty was unique and good, not too sweet. On top of good food and service, the place was clean and in a convenient location, also open later than some other places in the area. It was refreshing to have something familiar and priced great.
