5 /5 CR: This small, well presented gallery is a must-see. The work on show is exceptional, and you can easily spend an hour wandering around the old Chapel. 3 of us visited on a Sunday afternoon, and it cost £7pp. There is on street parking if you are fortunate and theres a public car park around the corner. The staff member was friendly and welcoming. An array of books and cards are available to purchase. There is a staircase to the upper level, but a lift is available. If you live locally or are visiting the area, this is a superb way to spend some time.

If you dont know Spencers art, learn about his life, his contemporaries at art school, his skill and his curious mixture of the earthly and the visionary. If you already know Spencers work youll love this gem of a gallery!
