5 /5 MBC: Tried Ariana for the first time tonight. Had a really wonderful time. Even my little fussy eaters cleared their plates! It’s not as good as some of the places I’ve been to in West London, but deffo recommend visiting.

5 /5 S B: Good food, good service, good people, good ambience. We ordered mixed platter and were allowed to make slight changes to it. Bread was cooked in front of you, it was fresh. Very humble server. Adding this to my regulars. We spent around £51 for two people. Food was cooked properly, just right. Good price point for the portions, quality and an authentic afghani experience. In my opinion 5/5. Bit of a hidden gem this.

5 /5 Dan Lewis: Food was nice but we ordered the chicken munch box and they didnt even give us the chicken donner portion so that was very disappointing, just had a small portion mixed in compared to the lamb munch box. I dont understand how you can forget a big component of the meal.

3 /5 L Begum: Visited this place a few times. I often don’t like making judgement and writing a review after a one off meal, unless the place is exceptional!!. The kabuli pilau is nice but it can get really dry and I wish it came with some sort of curry/gravy sauce with it. When we asked if there is such a sauce, the lady bought out some greasy sauce that the lamb was cooked in. Maybe it was lost in translation. The mantu is the best! One of the fave things on the menu. The kebabs are ok. I have definitely had better ones that were more flavoursome. It is expensive for the quality you get. Certainly better Afghan/Persian restaurants available in West London/Bayswater areas. I was disappointed that a Muslim establishment does not have a prayer space. When I asked, I was offered the back of the room with no prayer mat. Most Muslim restaurants will have a section to allow people to pray. Even Muslim coffee shops have this. So it was really disappointing. I’m assuming the workers and owners do not pray themselves? Hence why no space has even been considered. It is a real shame because it meant rushing our food to get home in time for prayer and certainly not a place I will pick for Ramadan because of this issue. Most of my friends all agreed on this. I think it’s definitely worth considering. As Muslims, you will also receive a lot of reward for facilitating others praying in your restaurant. Think of the barakah!! Otherwise, fairly decent place, nice decor and food is reasonably tasty. I would come again but avoid near prayer times.

5 /5 Tom Austin: Epic homecooked quality. This Afghani restaurant is a new find and favourite for me - Im already plotting my return. All staff are so very friendly! They helped make the visit very enjoyable. Fresh selection of juices always goes down a treat, they have an extensive menu and a number of specialties. I share the Qabuli lamb shank - cooked for 5 hours, unreal tenderness, succulent, probably one of the best lamb dishes Ive eaten. The lamb sabzi was such deep flavour, truly worth the trip for me. I almost forgot to mention the homemade bread - 10/10 Save space for the epic desserts! The Persian ice cream and the Persian sweet were amazing. Everything was done to perfection with incredible quality and service for the price. I recommended to my Uber driver and he had already been! If youre craving something homecooked or just want to spot to meet some mates midweek - this is perfect! Thank you again for your hospitality and amazing food, see you soon! (Bear in mind the receipt shows 2 lamb dishes shared and 2 vegetarian dishes for my friends)
