Lois Amoolya The most authentic Kerala cuisine one can taste in this place. Yummy food, very good hosts, must try place. The fish curry meal and biryani sadya were worth the price and very tasty. Definitely recommended for authentic Kerala food

Jim K All round positive experience. We were in a group of 11 and managed to find 3 tables to pull together on a Saturday lunchtime at midday. When we ordered on the app it said we might have to wait 20 mins, but the food started arriving within 5 mins! The food was of good quality and the portions were well sized. Prices are reasonable for what you get and for dessert the ice cream was genuinely excellent. They did get one order wrong and offered to change it for us and the staff were all very kind, smiley and friendly. The atmosphere was good, if slightly noisy, but thats to be expected given the number of people in the large hall. We will definitely be back.

Tony B BONA FIDE really is the light on the other side of the street at Temple Fortune. Now they serve alcohol and have an improved outside space which seems to be a bit of a Sun trap and even more warm and welcoming then ever perfect for catching the Sun with a drink in hand. But now there’s even more reason to stop by then for a perfectly made coffee, they’ve recently been granted their alcohol licence! It’s lovely to finally have the option to enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer, something this area has been missing for far too long. I’ve had their breakfast which is excellent by the way, but the other evening I wandered in after spotting someone enjoying a glass of wine with some nibbles and I’m so glad I did. They now stay open later, offering small tapas-style dishes a brilliant idea as well as larger dishes very tasty, that gives the place a relaxed, continental feel to visit in the evening as well. Attentive service, reasonable prices, and a welcoming vibe BONA FIDE is definitely one in this area to revisit again. Can also book for private parties. Will definitely be back more often. Maxim edwards I had an amazing lunch at Design Restaurant by Social Pantry and can’t recommend it enough. I went for the Beef Shin Ragu with Parmesan Polenta and Cavolo Nero, along with a side of Seasonal Greens, and it was absolutely outstanding. The flavours were rich and comforting, beautifully balanced, and plated with real care — one of the best lunches I’ve had recently. The service was just as impressive. The two girls working front‑of‑house were fantastic, warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive throughout the meal. They created such a relaxed atmosphere and made the whole experience feel special.

Markey Janina (Gin) Ordered a takeaway this afternoon.Shocking. Delivery fine, easy to order. The food was awful. Spent nearly FIFTY POUNDS and only a third was eaten. Such a waste of money and food. Ordered Gyros with Prawns, soggy and tasteless, Gyros with chicken, no flavour at all. A bowl of Chicken and Lamb skewers still looking for the meat served on a bed of ???? trying to work this out......the bowl half filled with chips to increase the volumn I suspect, never again.

Hannah Folloni Really lovely pub, we got parked right outside the front door which was nice as it was raining. It is very dog friendly with treats for them at the door and the offer of a water bowl should you need it. The service was great and there were very friendly staff that seemed very happy to help. The food was lovely too. Loved the decor, it was very inviting and nostalgic of how a pub should look in my opinion. All in all a very lovely place to spend a few hours. We will no doubt be back.
