Cloud 9 Shisha -

Rating: 4.4 /5
Shisha Spots Mellow Haze £20 Was in the area and thought I have to try cloud 9 as it’s been on the list for a while. Sat on the swing and ordered mellow haze. Shisha came out within 10 minutes in a savacco pot, just amazing the shisha banged hard! The seating was comfortable we were smoking and swinging, the vibe was nice although we went early the lounge is nice with the finer details, great music and screens all over the lounge. Service was excellent and the price come on you can’t go wrong with that, absolutely loved it. Will be going back soon to try food and have another good quality smoke. Definitely recommended I would say one of the best in the area.

seenivas chinu Had an awesome experience at Wingstop Wood Green! Georgiana was absolutely fantastic … super friendly, welcoming, and really went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. She had a great attitude, handled everything quickly, and made the visit 10/10. The food was great as always, but Georgiana’s service really made it stand out. Definitely coming back thanks to her!

Coffee Barn Kitchen & Deli, Uckfield -

Rating: 4.4 /5
Teckle Channel We visited for lunch with some friends on a Friday. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and there was a very good choice of food. We had toasted sandwiches and potato skins, both served with a side salad, then another coffee and cake. The food was delicious, great atmosphere and the owner was very helpful with our allergy questions. I would thoroughly recommend, and well definitely visit again.

David Gatherer Quiet but lovely, though it was only a Wednesday evening. Still, considering how good the food is a little surprised how quiet it was. Would highly recommended it. Honest, simple, tasty food. Nothing overpowered any of the flavours. You could pretty much pick out every ingredient. Breads are made to order, a lovely touch being able to watch them make mine. I’m not local, so very happy I found this little gem. Saddened as I’ll probably not get a chance to come back. All the same, I’ll be saving this to my list of places to eat.

The Mirabelle Restaurant -

Rating: 3.3 /5
Don Grose We had a memorable visit to the Mirabelle and the Grand Hotel. Senior staff with service experience guided juniors in high standards. A charming and powerful, welcome feeling of traditional Victorian elegance and seaside decay was counteracted by a capable modern menu. The Grand itself made for a nostalgic location for a Saturday night drink after the food, with numerous bar and seating areas. A disco band reminded me of my seaside student times 40 years ago. A venue fighting against and succeding in holding back the tide and standing firm.
nandos wood green

Nandos Wood Green -

Rating: 4.1 /5
Ankit Kailaswar Nando’s Wood Green offers a familiar, casual dining experience with a few ups and downs. Located in a small complex near Wood Green tube station, it’s easy to spot and fairly accessible. According to locals, this branch is halal, which helps broaden its appeal. Inside, the space is modest and can feel cramped when busy. Some reviews mention that the place is “quite small” for a Nando’s and could benefit from more room. The layout is typical: counter ordering up front, seating in the dining area, with décor reflecting the brand’s signature look. Cleanliness is generally acceptable. Service is one of the stronger aspects. Staff are often described as friendly and helpful. Many reviews praise how quickly orders are handled. However, there are occasional negative comments about undercooked food, soggy sides, or poor beverage quality when ordering via apps or delivery. Some customers also report inconsistent portion sizes and occasionally rude staff experiences. In terms of food, what you expect from a Nando’s is mostly delivered: grilled chicken with peri-peri seasoning, sides, and their signature sauces. Many guests consider the food “well prepared.” But there are mixed reports: some say the chicken was undercooked, and some sides (like chips) were soggy. Overall, Nando’s Wood Green is a solid choice for a quick, reliably familiar meal. If you go during non-peak hours, you’ll likely get better comfort, more space, and smoother service.
