1 /5 Jayden Bickerstaff: As a Chinese customer, I felt deeply discriminated against during my visit to this restaurant. After a long day at work, I hoped to enjoy a pleasant meal, but from the moment I walked in, the staff’s glances were anything but welcoming. This place requires payment upfront, so I ordered a pork rice noodle soup. While my meal eventually arrived, the tap water I requested never did. When I politely asked, "Where is my tap water?" a middle-aged male employee with glasses became visibly irritated and proceeded to lecture me on manners. It was shocking—I didn’t come here to be chastised by the staff.
This experience left me questioning whether I was treated this way because of my race. It was truly outrageous, and I am extremely upset. I will not return, nor do I recommend this place to any other Chinese customers. As for the £9.40 rice Ho Fun—it was underwhelming, with a small portion and nothing special to note. Is business in Oxford so successful that a restaurant can afford to treat its customers with such arrogance and disrespect?????????????????????????????????????????????????
