Alma Donohoe Excellent food, the lamp chops, garlic cauliflower, okra, Tokri chaat and Kandai chicken were delicious! The service from the waiter, Charming, and the manager were impeccable. Worth the trip from East London!

The food is unique and made with premium-quality ingredients — every dish is creative and full of flavor. The drinks are also delicious and perfectly prepared. Tony Bigwood After a 8 mile hike we popped into the Star and were with a warm welcome. An open fire was burning and the atmosphere was set for a cozy lunch. The Harveys was just perfect. I had ham (hand cut), eggs and chips. My friend had the pie of the day. The food was excellent. This is one of those country pubs that deserve to be thriving in these hard times.

Jay Eastaugh Very tasty food and friendly staff. This place is recommended for a fancy meal out, the menu is smaller than other places, but everything Ive had was always top quality. The prices reflect this too, so for a special night out, Id recommend this place.

Haniff Yasir (CI-Borg) Ordered a peri peri chicken salad and it was beautifully prepared with wedges and a choice of sauces. Hot, delicious and a great portion. Good service and clean tables
