5 /5 Omar Alexander-Kayn: Bellazul is one of those rare places that feels both quietly confident and deeply inviting. The wine list is delightful — thoughtful without being pretentious — and perfectly complements a menu that celebrates freshness above all else.
I began with the aubergine salad, a dish that truly captures the essence of the Mediterranean: smoky, vibrant, and full of sun-drenched flavour. Each bite felt like a gentle reminder of summer by the sea. The Grilled Chicken Paillard followed — tender, juicy, and beautifully seasoned, with that kind of simplicity that only comes from perfect ingredients handled with care.
I sat outside, where the atmosphere was just lovely — relaxed yet alive, with the soft hum of conversation and the gentle rhythm of the street adding to the charm. The service was exactly as it should be: attentive without intrusion, professional yet effortlessly warm.
Bellazul doesn’t try too hard — it simply gets everything right.
