1 /5 Ladyc: First time in Pembury and thought we’d go to this place as it has good reviews. Maybe it was an off day, but the staff were not welcoming in the slightest. I’m still not sure why asking for a table for 2 got us such odd looks… I have dietary requirements and told the staff at the carvery and was again given odd looks and very passive aggressive responses. My partner went up after me to grab the Sunday roast and had a slightly more pleasant encounter, but the service was really poor. I’m not asking for beaming smiles every minute, but I’d expect a lot more attentiveness from staff working in hospitality. I don’t want to use the word racism lightly, but if you don’t look like the typical demographic of the area, maybe give this place a miss.

5 /5 Lisa Copham: Popped in on the off chance and so glad I did. The outside doesnt do it justice. Looks smaller than it is. From the minute we walked in the service was great so lucky they had a table free for us as it was busy and every other table was reserved. Had a carvery, great choice of meats ( you could have them all) stuffing. Yorkshire, potatoes and a selection of vegetables. So wish I had got a photo it was spot on. Can with 2 courses so was a little naughty. Would definitely recommend and go back. Can eat inside or out. Honestly dont drive past, find a parking spot and go in get some food.

5 /5 Richard Petts: This is our favorite place to dine, the carvery on a Sunday is superb. Enjoyed dinner here Bank Holiday Monday, my wife and mother in law had the Sea Bass, I had the most amazing curry, vegan coconut vegetable curry, a huge portion with soft fluffy rice and a couple of poppadoms, fabulous. Lovely spacious seating outside under cover and very polite friendly staff, look forward to returning soon, thank you, Rich, Karen & Ann x
