1 /5 Jamie Wynn: I used to love visiting here when I lived down south, recently returned and found out that there were new owners from the last time I visited.
Reluctantly I decided to give it a go as I thought not too much could have changed since the old staff kept their jobs. Oh I was wrong.
French onion soup, a classic that cant go wrong. The appearance of the dish was abysmal. Dirty dish water mixed with a bucket of grease, the aroma was worse the onions were clearly past their best and even drowning them in an oil/dishwater solution couldnt save them.
I complained and they sent for the owner as he was present at the time, after about 10 minutes of sitting there not eating and feeling rather uncomfortable as others were looking, a man introduced himself as "Mr Anderson, the owner here" I can only tell you what I thought was soup Mr Anderson clearly thought it was a bath tub. Hair and skin had more grease than my meal.
All in all, avoid it. Youd get better quality food and better service at the nearest Greggs.
