And the service made the evening even more special — attentive, warm, and genuinely kind without ever being intrusive. We felt welcomed, valued, and completely taken care of. Robert Jesse Second time being there and the restaurant never disappoints! Drinks and food were good — I did try the rabbit, wasn’t expecting the fried texture but the inside was delicious. I was hoping for a birthday dessert since I mentioned in the booking that we were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday, but overall I’ll definitely go there again!

Have recommended here to many friends, all equally impressed. Beautiful decor, open fires. High standard in all they do, but still cosy with open fires and friendly atmosphere.

David Jones Just popped in for a quick drink on Xmas Day. Brilliant front of house service from a lovely lady who was greeting people and seating them. Really good idea to do walk in Xmas food-drinks were great. Xmas star on my Guinness!! 5 star welcome!

Julie D We were gifted a sharing platter. Phoned to book the platter and arrange collection. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, the order was ready for collection as arranged. The food was delicious and more than enough for two. I would definitely use the Gurnard Press again and recommend.
