4 /5 Pavan Mason: Brother Marcus Spitalfields is located right in the heart of Spitalfields, making it a great spot for breakfast with friends. We visited as a group of around 5–8 people for breakfast.
The food was generally good — the potato fritters were especially nice and definitely the standout dish. However, the portion sizes, particularly for the english breakfast dishes, could have been a bit more generous. A few of the poached eggs were also overcooked, with the bacon over cooked which was a little disappointing.
The staff were kind, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. That said, the restaurant was very busy, and it felt like the team was stretched a bit too thin at times - leaving us waiting a while to order and pay the bill etc.
Overall, good food in a great location, with lovely staff. With slightly larger portions and more consistency in execution, it could be even better!
