New Lahori Masala - Brent

Rating: 4.2 /5
zee khan We have been several times to have a lahori style breakfast and the food has been great. We order the channay (chickpeas) and halwa poori (sweet semolina and sweet flatbread). Which are usually delicious! Paratha is also very tasty. My personal favourite to order is the fresh lassi. The uncle who is the manager is friendly and sweet, we bring our guests here though the interior is not particularly formal but regardless we return as it is a nice pakistani breakfast option in north west London. Call in advance for bigger family group bookings.

The Hungry Cow -

Sanjeev Kumar Naidu I had a really good experience at Hungry Cow. The burgers were juicy, well-seasoned, and freshly made, with great flavours in every bite. Portion sizes were generous and definitely worth the price. The sides were crispy and complemented the main dishes perfectly. The staff were friendly, polite, and quick to take orders, which made the overall experience smooth and enjoyable. Service was fast, and the food arrived hot and fresh. The place was clean and had a nice, casual atmosphere, perfect for a quick meal or takeaway.

Sadek Ali I was recommended this place for dinner after my friends went there previously so I thought I’d give it a try. If I’m not mistaken it is a family run Pakistani Cuisine restaurant that offers both takeaway and dine in options. It’s not a massive restaurant but there is plenty of space for large groups but definitely book a table in advance. There is a large variety available on the menu with emphasis on grilled foods. We went for the 3-4 people Mixed Tawa for 3 people and we had to take some home because of the quantity. The food is made to order so you will have to wait a bit for it to come out so getting there on time and ordering sooner rather than later is advised as like I said previously it is a family run business. But what I will say is the wait is worth it. I’ve had a lot of mixed grills in my time and their take on spices and flavours is unique to the traditional mixed grills you get around London. The meats are very tender and juicy and enthused with the oils and spices in the tawa. I will say it is a bit greasy just because it is on a tawa but this absorbed into the naan adds a lot of depth and doesn’t end up being too heavy. Overall the food is very good and it’s a spot I would return back to on a regular basis. I would give it a try if you’re in the area or looking for something new.

C Rickshaw Lounge is a very nice and friendly restaurant where diners can come and enjoy meals in a friendly atmosphere which looks pleasant and upmarket too. The selection of food is vast and caters for vegetarians too, it also tastes great and was pleasantly flavoured. Definitely worth a try and I would go again.
