5 /5 Laura Hart: Had an absolutely amazing time at Canterbury Tails, such a cozy homely atmosphere. The cats are adorable, calm and very friendly, you can see they are looked after well. It was lovely seeing the different cat personalities and reassuring to know they can also go off someone private to escape if needed. The staff were so friendly, really welcoming and seemed to know the cats very well. I was also so happy to realise the cafe is vegan and I could actually enjoy an amazing hot chocolate with cream AND marshmallows! Will definitely come again when I next visit Canterbury.

5 /5 Hazel Whitehouse: A multi story cafe with gorgeous food, friendly staff and beautiful cats, what more can you ask for. Honestly the best cat cafe Ive ever been to. The selection of drinks and food is incredible (felt overwhelmed for choice). The deluxe hot chocolate is awesome. The cafe itself is super cosy with lots of electric fires to keep the place warm through the winter. Everything is cat friendly, table legs are scratching posts and even the beams to the ceiling are wrapped so cats can climb around.

5 /5 Jenna Bolton: my partner surprised me for my birthday with a trip here, it was honestly the best they left a little birthday card with sweeties and sat us in a cute corner where i met CeCe (from help with the book of every cats name and information)! She came over and got comfy in my lap and by observing the cats they look very well looked after with rules in place to make sure the cats are comfortable and safe, when i had a wander around it looked as if the cats could go upstairs to get alone time if they didn’t feel sociable which i also loved! the atmosphere was amazing with very nice matcha and amazing staff! it’s so refreshing seeing such a nice environment we had a laugh with the other customers i definitely can’t wait to go again!

5 /5 Tickner Martin (TheOnly_MT): The staff were attentive and obviously love the cats. The cats were happy and have space to get away if needed. I really enjoyed our visit and wanted to take Custard home! The cats were lovely and even came to see us for a fuss! The food was good. I would have had no idea my hot chocolate didn’t have cows milk (banoffee flavour was lovely!) and the same with my chocolate fudge cake too. It was warm but not overmelted, rich but not sickly. It was also the first cat cafe I’ve visited with the foresight to give a cover so rogue kitty’s couldn’t help themselves! Will absolutely be going back.

Sophia R Really lovely place to eat and have a drink. Been here a few times since we found out the bar area is dog friendly. Food has always been really tasty and hot, with a reasonable waiting time. Friendly and welcoming staff, who fell in love with our puppy and made her feel at ease. Nice old fashioned atmosphere, which we love even though were still young. Seems to attract a lot of mature people but sometimes a mix of ages. Will definitely be returning

Ricky Rew Absolutely delicious food. The service was great and the atmosphere was pleasant. The only downside was the flies (present because the doors were open as it was a warm day) - it cant really be helped but it detracted from the enjoyment of an otherwise excellent meal.

Howard Broadribb My wife and I booked The Foundry Brewpub specifically for the Sunday roast and looking at previous reviews what I hoped would be great beer too. When the phone rang a couple of hours ahead of our booking I thought it was going to be cancelling our reservation, we were surprised to be asked if we wanted roast lamb or roast beef as they were so busy they didnt want us to arrive and be sold out - now that is absolutely AMAZING service. The roast were delicious along the two ales I had to accompany my meal. Great service and atmosphere too. Highly recommended.
