1 /5 Callum Clark: After many years of being a customer, the service at this establishment has significantly declined.
We phoned ahead and placed an order for collection at approximately 6:00 pm. We were advised that the food would be ready in 1 hour and 10 minutes. I arrived after one hour, as instructed, but then had to wait a further 1 hour and 45 minutes inside the shop.
During this time, there were many other visibly unhappy customers experiencing similar delays. Eventually, I was informed that our order had been delivered to another customer by mistake. The delivery driver then went to retrieve the food, and shockingly, staff attempted to give that same food to us. I refused immediately, as it had already been taken to another address and potentially opened. This was completely unacceptable and raised serious concerns about hygiene and standards.
At this point, the experience had become intolerable. Thankfully, another nearby restaurant (Pollo Cabana) saved the evening, as it was already around 9:30–10:00 pm by the time we left. We received a refund and will not be returning.
This business is clearly accepting far more orders than it can reasonably fulfil. Overall, a very disappointing experience and a place I can no longer recommend.
