3 /5 Damian Tommy: I visited last Sat 1st Nov for breakfast at around 10:30 and have been excited to take my daughter there.
There is ample parking space.
It was quite busy but we were welcomed & managed to get a table quickly. I placed our order, including a tea for myself, sat down and admired the nice views whilst we waited. I noticed teas being served to people who had arrived after me, but waited till our food arrived and had to mention I had ordered tea to the young man serving me, who apologised and went off to get me one.
I ordered the full English and my daughter had avocado on toast with poached egg and bacon. The food was very good and I would recommend it. My disappointment, however, was that whilst I was still eating (and hadnt finished my tea) we were asked to vacate the table so that others could be seated. Now I understand that it was busy, but I dont think its at all polite to ask diners to leave before they have finished eating. I did not notice anybody else being asked the same. I did not say anything as i did not want to be confrontational (especially being the only people of colour). The gentleman who failed to deliver my tea on time tried to apologise, but I had already got up and gone to pay.
I must admit, although the place is nice, the food was great, our experience was ruined and, sadly, we will not be going back. For my 10 year old daughter to mention how we were rushed out had me feeling rather disappointed and my initial excitement diffused.
I hope this is something management could address as I would not wish for any other first timers to experience what we did.
