5 /5 Savneet Kaur: Still wondering how we managed to miss this little gem in MK for so long. This small café serves truly authentic Sri Lankan food, and everything tastes incredibly delicious. I’m a big fan of South Indian food, and this place offers an authentic flavour that’s quite different from the usual. We’ve visited twice now and tried the egg masala with parantha, chicken biryani (which I honestly didn’t expect to taste so good — it had that perfect hometown masala flavour), dosa (my son loved it), masala tea, ginger tea, their milk cake, and the ladoo. One dish I absolutely fell in love with was the idiyappam served with curry and lentil powder masala. It’s so simple yet unbelievably tasty — I ended up ordering it twice! Will definitely come again and again :)

5 /5 S Ehan: Excellent food and amazing quality! Trust my words – we visited while in Milton Keynes over the weekend of 29th and 30th August, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The food was super fresh, bursting with flavour, and beautifully presented – definitely unforgettable! It’s a lovely family-run place with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. What impressed me most was the diversity of people dining there; you could see all communities enjoying the food, which speaks volumes about its popularity and authenticity. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Milton Keynes – you won’t be disappointed!

5 /5 Sumithra Ranganathan: I am so glad we found this little gem. My husband I really enjoyed the food and the service. We stayed in the area for 3 days and each day we tried different food at the Ceylon Cafe. All the food we tried was delicious and the price was very reasonable. The staff also made our time there very pleasant. We had dosa and masala omelette on the first day which was so crispy and tasted really good. The chutney was good too. The next day we had iddiappam, sothi, sambal and mutton curry. It was absolutely delicious and on the third day we had Chicken biriyani and mutton kothu. Honestly this cannot get anymore authentic then this when it comes to Srilankan food. I also have to add the snacks and tea was wonderful too. We will definitely be back and will bring our family as well to have the lovely food.

5 /5 Margi patel: THE BEST Sri Lankan food for miles!! We drive from Bicester especially for Ceylon cafe. The food is so affordable, authentic and delicious. Really friendly staff!! Can get busy but worth it. Can’t recommend enough, you’ve got to try the food! Their milk cakes are delicious too. Lots of veggie options!
