5 /5 nawal farooq: I recently visited Chickaros in Slough and was genuinely impressed. The food was outstanding from start to finish. I ordered the crispy battered wings, which were perfectly seasoned and had the ideal crunch. The Chickaros loaded steak was packed with flavour and cooked really well—tender, juicy, and full of toppings. The full loaded parmesan was rich, cheesy, and incredibly satisfying. The portions were generous, everything came out fresh, and the service was friendly and efficient. The place has a great vibe too, making it an enjoyable spot to eat in. Overall, an excellent experience. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be returning!

1 /5 Zulaikha Hussain: Came here 2x before and it was disappointing to say the least. I was convinced to give it another go and I think this is the worst experience Ive ever had at a restaurant. Over £60 wasted on inedible food. Went with my friends on a Wednesday at midday. Nobody there to seat us. We were given new Ramadan menus which didnt have half the things on there that we actually came for as it was a reduced menu. When we asked the staff member they said that we had to order what we had originally wanted for takeaway on Uber Eats which makes zero sense because that meant they had the items to make the food, but we couldnt order it for eat in. Senseless. There was also only one staff member working the front and we couldnt understand a word he was saying as he was whispering. We ordered the brisket and a hotshot parmesan. The brisket was rubbery, the donner was freezing cold. The parmesan was clearly just frozen chicken fillet that they had put a slice of cheese on and some veg. Some of the chicken was so overcooked I couldnt actually cut it. We ordered the strawberry and lime mojitos and the mango delight. I saw the mojitos being made and it was literally sprite and vimto mixed together. No syrups, no mint, and it tasted vile. The mango delight was clearly J2O put into a glass. I sent both back and had them made again. The strawberry and lime was still horrible and the mango delight tasted like it had been made with gone off milk. I had that taken off my bill. I would avoid at all costs.

1 /5 Mazher Iqbal: My Review of Chickaros I ordered food for myself and my family, and this review is based entirely on my personal experience. I ordered the chicken steak with chips and rice, but unfortunately, the meal was a huge disappointment. The menu felt misleading — what arrived was a few burnt, hard, and chewy chicken strips covered in a cheap-tasting sauce. The chips were standard, and the rice looked like it had been scraped from the bottom of the pot. I genuinely can’t understand how places like this can serve such poor-quality food while presenting themselves as pioneers of flavour. The only positive aspect of my visit was the two female waiters, who were both friendly and helpful. Sadly, the food itself was practically inedible and a complete letdown. This was my first and definitely my last visit to Chickaros.
